Who We Are:
British s.r.l. was founded in 1970 by Mr. Edward Clegg, and is one of the oldest and most prestigious English schools in Genova. We have over 30 years experience in English Language Teaching.
Our teachers are exclusively mother tongue, and are all TEFL/CELTA certified, they are coordinated by the Director of Studies, who constantly revises the methods of teaching and the materials used.

Our staff
The school organises group courses for every level and age group from ages 4 to 80+, and students are divided by level, from absolute beginners to advanced.
Classes are composed of minimum of four students to a maximum of twelve. These are general English courses, an hour and a half, twice a week. The majority of the coursework is conversation, then grammar, listening and written exercises. We also have conversation courses with a maximum of six people per class, two hours, once a week.
Courses for Cambridge Exam preparation are an hour and a half, twice a week.

British also offers individual lessons for general and technical English, as well as exam preparation, based upon the student's needs, all year round with flexible hours, here at the school in Via XX Settembre 12.
We also offer specific courses for children, where they can learn English in a fun and friendly environment.
We offer translations from Italian to English and vice versa, we organise study courses abroad based on the needs and preferences of the client.
